The Sootywell Project © is a collaborative work dedicated to exploring one of human kind's most primal urges.
By allowing each participant to express their own personal idea of 'Eroticism', life was breathed into their fantasy evoking a sense of realism. From the quirky to the extreme, all images have been composed with the spirit of collaboration and creation, delicately presented as a personal insight into their own hidden, suburban world.
Since Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian made honest sexual expression legitimate, this project seeks to find that same honesty in different people. Urban or suburban. All types welcome. Couples too.
It was agreed that everyone wanting to be involved would assume their own 'pornstar name' (derived from first pet's name and first street name), galvanising the project into something both evocative and liberating.
All participants are over 18 years old and are required to sign a release (click to download) to appear on this site and books for legal purposes.
All welcome and no ideas unsuitable. Everyone was welcome to participate in more than one idea. The aim being to create and share something amazing and very personal in a real, but artistically beautiful way.
The ultimate goal of the project was to create this stunning coffee table book (similar to Madonna's SEX book) with all profit going to Beyond Blue Australia, to help fight depression.
